Your photo is sent to Snagfit's detection service to identify the items in it and is not published, shared, or shown to other visitors. Nothing is posted or shared until you choose to buy an item, which simply opens that retailer's page.

Snagfit searches current shopping listings and matches them to the garment type, color, and style its AI sees in your photo. It also surfaces close alternatives at different price points, so you still have options if the exact item is sold out.

Any image file works: JPG, PNG, WEBP, or a plain screenshot. Large photos are resized in your browser before they're sent for detection, which keeps uploads quick even on a big phone photo. A clear, full-body shot with the outfit unobstructed gives the AI the most to work with.

Yes. The most common use is a screenshot from an influencer's video or post: take the screenshot so it's saved in your photos, then upload that same image to Snagfit. It works the same way regardless of which app the screenshot came from.

Detection works best on a clear, full-body shot where the outfit isn't blocked or cropped. A blurry photo, heavy cropping, or an outfit mostly out of frame can cause a miss. Try a clearer photo of the same outfit.

A reverse image search finds pages that used the same picture; it doesn't tell you what's in it. Snagfit reads the photo itself: its AI identifies every garment in the shot at once and matches each one to a shopping listing, instead of you searching for one item at a time by hand.

Snagfit shows the closest match it can find for each garment, plus similar items and things that go with it. It does not promise an identical product every time. Fast fashion, resale, and vintage pieces sell out or were never sold online in the first place, so a close match is sometimes the most honest result.

Tapping buy sends you straight to that retailer's own product page in a new tab. Snagfit does not currently earn a commission or any other payment from that link, and has no part in the purchase itself: check price, size, and availability on the retailer's page before buying.

Snagfit reads the whole outfit at once, not one item at a time: tops, bottoms, dresses, jackets, shoes, bags, and other pieces in the same shot are each identified separately. If a photo has several garments in it, expect a separate match for each one, not a single result for the whole outfit.
